Has The Colts Top Five Been Finalised?

The final five may now be set in the Colts competition after Harvey Brunswick Leschenault lost to eighth placed Carey Park at Kelly Park on Saturday.

The Panthers led at every change in the upset win, with Jordan Wallam kicking six of Carey Park’s nine goals.

Harvey Bulls defeated Collie Eagles in a spiteful match at Harvey Oval, with several melees reported by the umpires, including an ugly brawl after the final siren.

Augusta Margaret River had to survive a last quarter comeback by Busselton who trailed twice in the match by 29 points, with the Hawks recording a five point win at Sir Stewart Bovell Park.

After a slow start, top placed Bunbury confirmed they will finish on top of the ladder, downing South Bunbury by 38 points, with Eaton Boomers 83 points too good for Donnybrook, with Tyrone Winder kicking eight goals for the Boomers.

The match of the round will be on Saturday at Hands Oval when fourth placed South Bunbury host Eaton Boomers.  Although it is possible that upsets may happen and positions may change, more than likely these two teams will front up again in two weeks in an Elimination Final.

Augusta Margaret River will host Carey Park in the other Saturday fixture, while Collie Eagles will host the Lions in Collie on Sunday.  Also on Sunday, Harvey Bulls will host Bunbury, with the final match of the round pitting Donnybrook against Busselton at VC Mitchell Park.
