Hawks Looking To Solidify Second Spot

Augusta Margaret River will play Harvey Brunswick Leschenault on Saturday afternoon at Gloucester Park with the home team looking to solidify second place on the Ladder.

Currently equal on points with Bunbury, the Bulldogs have played one less game than the Hawks, so the home team will be looking for a further percentage boost on Saturday when they play the Lions, who were totally outplayed last week by Donnybrook.

Augusta Margaret River made light work of Carey Park, with winners right across the ground, including Simon Moore, Steven Payne, Jacob Payne and Lincoln Adams, all of whom have been in the best players lists in recent weeks.

The Lions went down to the Hawks in round three by 52 points, and the Lions will be hard pressed to keep it to that margin based on recent form from both teams.   The Hawks will be missing Mitch Payne through an ankle injury, but have plenty of other players to fill his void.

A win will keep the Hawks in second place for another week, with matches against South Bunbury and Bunbury still several weeks away.
