Hawks To Host Boomers Saturday

The opening game of round five of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL Premiership season, will be played at Gloucester Park this Saturday, with Augusta Margaret River hosting Eaton.

The Hawks are coming off what some would consider to be a shock loss, after they were beaten last Saturday night by Carey Park, while Eaton are searching for their first win of the season, after two good performances against South Bunbury and Harvey Bulls.

The defending premiers after a close first half, had no answers for Carey Park in the third quarter when the Panthers kicked seven goals, something the Hawks are sure to address on Saturday.

Some of the Hawks key players were kept very quiet and Eaton will need to do the same if they are to have any chance of victory.

Greg Humphries has been a standout for the Boomers in all four of their matches so far, and he will again need to play a big game if the Boomers are to cause an upset win.

The Hawks as a result of their loss, dropped outside of the top five and will need a win to stay in touch with the teams above them even at this early stage of the season.   Simon Moore continues to play excellent football and will be a key player the Boomers will need to watch, to ensure they limit the supply to the Hawks forward line.
