Augusta Margaret River will host Harvey Bulls in round three of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL Premiership Season this Saturday, in what already is a crunch contest for both teams.
It will also see premiership player Sam Lewis return to Gloucester Park, this time as a Bull, with Lewis already playing great football for his new club.
The Hawks have started the season with a loss to Busselton and a win against South Bunbury, while the Bulls have defeated both the Lions and Collie Eagles in their opening two encounters.
The Hawks have played two high quality matches so far and had to hold off South Bunbury in round two, winning by eleven points, while the Bulls last contest was against Collie, where the Bulls took control in the second half, with 28 scoring shots in their 61 point win. Jacob Pickett is one player the Hawks will need to keep an eye on, having kicked four goals, while the Bulls will need to stop the engine room of the Hawks who play Gloucester Park incredibly well.
Should the Hawks win they will join the Bulls on two wins after three matches, but a loss will see the defending Premiers starting with one win from three games, while the Bulls victory will see them start with three straight wins, their equal best start to a s season since joining the competition, highlighting the importance to both teams winning the match.
