High Stakes At Payne Park

Bunbury will play Harvey Brunswick Leschenault at PC Payne Park on Saturday afternoon, in a crunch game for both clubs with the loser to be win-less after round three.

Bunbury who played in the opening round against Carey Park, suffered a shock three point loss and have since had a two week break with the bye and a general bye for Easter.  Subsequently the Bulldogs will be at full strength for the match up against the Lions who led until five minutes remaining against Carey Park in round two, suffering a three point loss.

Both teams have focal points up-forward, with Bunbury arguably having the most potent forward line in the competition with Matt Martin, Hayden Yarran and Joel Houghton all in the forward line, while the Lions have Jarrod Humphries who kicked four goals against Carey Park, two of which were brilliant individual efforts.
