The second term saw the Bulls make use of the tricky conditions with Sam Lewis kicking two goals and Brad Holmes one.   Jethro Barraclough was also playing a great game, and kicked both of Bunbury’s goals in the second term, as the Bulls took a slender margin into half time.

Barraclough kicked his third as part of a four goal blitz in the third term, which saw the Bulldogs regain the lead and seemed in control of the contest, taking a fourteen point buffer into the final term.

It was all out attack in the final stanza by the Bulls, with Sam Lewis leading the charge, but he and his team mates struggled to find the major opening, missing time and time again.  The Bulls had to late changes from deep in the pocket, both of which went out on the full, with the home side prevailing by three points.
