Carey Park defeated Eaton on Sunday afternoon, in round thirteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season, keeping their chances of making the top five alive.
The Panthers led the entire match, but were very inaccurate on a perfect day for football.

After leading by six behinds at quarter time, Carey Park extended that margin to thirty three points at half time, and fifty three points at the final break. The Panthers really didn’t find their rythym until the final term, where they kicked seven goals, to record a 78 point win over Eaton, who were restricted to three goals in the first three quarters. The Boomers did stick to the task in the final term, kicking four goals to more than double their score but the match was well and truly over.
Pleasingly for the Panthers would be their spread of goal kickers, with ten players kicking goals, with Brian Hughes kicking four goals, but it would be Connor Gadecki and Jamie Meade who set alot of forward moves up, and were amongst the best on the ground.
Jack Cox continued his solid season for the Boomers to be their best contributor along with Jason Carter.
Carey Park will now host Collie Eagles on Saturday in the Indigenous Recognition Match (Saturday), with both sides coming off wins, while Eaton will host Bunbury on Sunday, with the Bulldogs coming off a shock loss to Harvey Brunswick Leschenault.
