Harvey Brunswick Leschenault have gone back to back in the Get Careers Colts Grand Final at Hands Memorial Oval on Saturday morning, defeating Bunbury by 65 points.
Both sides appeared nervous in the opening quarter with both sides missing targets, but eventually it would be John Manuel who would kick the opening goal of the match from 15m out to give the the Lions the lead. Moments later Ben Cherry would reply, converting a set shot. Tom Ward took a strong mark and duly converted to extend the lead for the Lions again, but late in the quarter, Tex Magennis found himself all alone to reduce the margin to five points at the first break.

The second quarter was all the Lions which ultimately is where the Premiership was decided, with the Lions kicking six unanswered goals. John Manuel was outstanding, kicking three goals for the term, one from in the goal square, one from long range and a the final of three goals being a clever snap, as the Lions took a forty five point lead into half time.
Any chance of a Bunbury comeback in the third term were quickly snuffed out, with the Lions kicking the first two goals of the third term to put the game beyond reach.
Bunbury did rally in the final term, but the margin was too great, with the Lions victorious for a second straight year.
John Manuel would be awarded the prestigious Lynn Medal as best on ground.
