Harvey Brunswick Leschenault will venture to the Collie Recereation Ground on Sunday to take on the Collie Eagles, in round twelve of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season.
The match could be seen as a danger game for the Lions, with the Eagles playing some good football, but just haven’t been able to get across the line against higher ranked teams.
Collie were highly competitive against ladder leaders, Busselton two weeks ago, while in round eleven were right in the contest against fifth placed Donnybrook until midway through the final term. Meanwhile the Lions are coming off a big win against the Lions, which saw some of their key players in good form, with Jesse Crichton kicking five goals.
The Lions are sixth, equal with fifth placed Donnybrook, who play Carey Park on Saturday. If the Dons win, the Lions will be hoping to do the same to stay in touch with fifth place, while a loss will see them a game outside the five, with some tough matches to follow.
The Eagles will want to put in a good performance, with Jayce Fontana set to play his 200th League game.
