Harvey Brunswick Leschenault will be looking to bounce back to winning form, when they play Carey Park at Kelly Park on Saturday evening, in the final round of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season.
The Lions sit fifth on the ladder and had an opportunity at home last Saturday evening to move to third, but a seven point loss to the Dons, will ensure the Lions sit fifth at the end of the home and away season. Mathematically they can drop out of the five to Carey Park, who would need to win by approx 145 points to make an unlikely entry into the 2026 finals.
Carey Park lost to Busselton last Saturday and will almost certainly finish sixth, continuing their sequence of the last five years of being in finals on year and out the next. (2022 – eighth, 2023 – second, 2024 – seventh, 2025 – fourth).
The Lions will be looking to find form leading into the finals, where they will play in an Elimination Final which will either be against South Bunbury or Donnybrook.
The League encounter commences at 4.40pm.
