Harvey Brunswick Leschenault have moved into the top four, after defeating the Collie Eagles at the Collie Recreation Ground on Sunday, in round twelve of the Dale Alcock Homes South West premiership season.
The opening term would be a tight one with just two goals kicked, with the Eagles scoring the first, with the Lions replying to lead by a point at quarter time.
The second term remained tight, but scoring opened up, with the Lions kicking three goals to two, to lead by seven points at half time.
The half time break did wonders for the Lions, who would keep Collie goal-less in the second half, kicking eight unanswered goals, which would see the visitors win by 55 points.
As a result of the Lions victory and other results across the weekend, the Lions have moved from sixth to fourth, while Collie remain in eighth. Collie will head to Harvey next Sunday to take on the Harvey Bulls, who they defeated in round two, with a goal after the siren. The Lions will host Dunsborough at Brunswick Oval meanwhile, in a match the Lions would love to win to consolidate their position within the top five.
