Lions To Strong For Sharks

Harvey Brunswick Lescheanult were too strong for Dunsborough on Saturday afternoon at Brunswick Oval, in round twelve of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL premiership season.

The final margin was 75 points, largely set up in the first quarter where the Sharks were held scoreless, while the Lions had fifteen shots on goal, converting six.

In tricky conditions with an arctic breeze, the Lions extended the margin at every break, but the Sharks did show some good signs particularly in the second half, led by their captain Max Paterson who returned to the side after a three week absence due to concussion protocols.

The win keeps the Lions in third place, with Connor Carbone continuing his good season with another great game, while the Indigenous Game Ball was awarded to debutant Will York.
