Harvey Brunswick Leschenault consolidated its position in the top five on Saturday afternoon, with a win over Augusta Margaret River, in round fifteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season.
On a cold afternoon at Brunswick Oval, the Lions faced an understrengthed Hawks line-up, with the club having as many as 19 players out injured, and another dozen with the flu, leaving some pundits unable to recognise some of the players.

Witnessed by one of the smallest crowds in many years, the Hawks kicked the opening two goals of the game, and led by four points at quarter time.
Ty Anderson kicked an excellent goal to start the second term, which belonged to the Lions who were starting to slowly dominate the contest. Luke Bennett provided the highlight of the day on the wing, leaping high over an opponent, taking the ball at its highest point.
Leading by sixteen points at half time, the Lions consolidated the advantage in the third quarter, with Jarrod Humphries kicking the first goal of the term, the first of five unanswered goals, giving the home side a 48 point lead at three quarter time.
The final term saw the Hawks mount a fight back, kicking six goals for the term, and four in succession, but the Lions would prevail by 31 points.
Ty Anderson continued his good for, as did Jack Fletcher, while Max Spyvee continued his excellent form as the Hawks best player.
