Magpies And Bulls To Round Out Round Eleven

Busselton will play Harvey Bulls in the final game of round eleven, a match both teams will be desperate to win, when they play at Sir Stewart Bovell Park on Sunday in round eleven of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL premiership season.

The Magpies have found form in recent weeks, with wins over Collie, Dunsborough and Donnybrook in the last month, while their wins over Collie and Dunsborough have seen the Magpies kick ten goals in the last quarter in both matches.   Meanwhile the Bulls who will be fresh off the bye, have had narrow wins over Collie and Dunsborough and a narrow loss to the Hawks in their last three matches.

The Magpies, although potentially not wanting to look ahead of Sunday’s clash, have a tough run coming up after the Bulls, with matches against Bunbury, Carey Park and Harvey Brunswick Leschenault to come, highlighting the importance of a win on Sunday.

Busselton have been well served in the forward line by Beau Chinnery and Liam Creighton, who have been two of the main instigators in the large last quarter scores.   The Bulls defence will have a tough time keeping both of them quiet, but that will be necessary if the Bulls are to cause an upset.  The Bulls have won two of their last three matches at Sir Stewart Bovell Park, including the 2022 Elimination Final.

The League Match starts at 3.00pm.
