Magpies And Tigers Lead Colts Competition

Busselton and South Bunbury remain undefeated after five rounds of the SWFL Colts competition.

Busselton thrashed Carey Park at Kelly Park, winning by a massive 137 points.  Harvey Golding kicked six goals and Harry Curtin kicked five goals in the huge win on Saturday.

Augusta Margaret River lead by a point at half time in the match of the round at Gloucester Park, but kicked just one goal in the second half as Bunbury went on to win by 43 points.

On Sunday, Eaton Boomers made a third quarter fight back, getting within 10 points of the Lions before the home team kicked away in the last to win by 34 points.

Collie Eagles were wayward in front of goals, having more scoring shots than South Bunbury, but still were beaten by 29 points, with the home team kicking 5.14.44

In the final match of the round, Donnybrook won a thriller, kicking a goal with the final kick of the match to defeat Harvey Bulls by two points.

This weekend Donnybrook will host Bunbury, while Carey Park and Collie Eagles, both on one win apiece will be seeking a second victory.  Meanwhile bottom placed Harvey Bulls will take on undefeated South Bunbury, and will face a stiff task.

On Sunday, Busselton will take on a rejuvenated Harvey Brunswick Leschenault in the match of the round, with Eaton Boomers hosting Augusta Margaret River at Glen Huon Reserve in what should be a highly competitive match.
