A serious ankle injury to Greg Humphries in the final quarter of the round seven clash between South Bunbury and Eaton at Hands Memorial Oval, saw the game called off early as Humphries awaited paramedics.
Under the laws of the game, if a match can’t resume within 30 minutes after a serious injury the match shall cease, and with the result beyond doubt, after consulation with both coaches the game finished 15 minutes early.

It was a bad day for the Boomers, who were already without a bench due to other injuries sustained in the match, including Anthony Hansen and Karl Collard.
The match itself reached no great heights, with the Tigers doing what they needed to do, and that was to arrest a two game losing streak.
The Tigers set up their victory in the opening quarter kicking five goals to one, including the first three goals in eight minutes to have the Boomers on the back foot from early in the contest.
Mitchell Bain was adjudged best on ground and received the Belt Up Football.
South Bunbury will now go on the road for the next month due to the AFL match, with Collie Eagles their round eight oppponent. Eaton meanwhile, will play Harvey Brunswick Leschenault at Glen Huon Reserve.
