Only One More Round Until David Mundy Plays For Dunsborough

South West Football League’s Think Mental Health Round welcomes AFL Star David Mundy to Play for Dunsborough Sharks Football Club on Sunday, 11 June 2023.

The Dunsborough Football Club is thrilled to announce the participation of AFL superstar David Mundy in the upcoming Think Mental Health Round. David, a celebrated player for the Fremantle Dockers, will be joining the Dunsborough Sharks Football Club, bringing his exceptional talent and experience to the local league team.

The Think Mental Health Round, scheduled for June 11, 2023, aims to raise awareness about mental health and promote wellbeing within the community. This event is a collaboration between the SWFL and Think Mental Health, a leading mental health advocacy organisation.  It presents a unique opportunity for local football clubs and players to come together and support mental health initiatives.

In their first season in the League, the Dunsborough Sharks Football Club has been playing some exceptional football, and the addition of David Mundy to their lineup further solidifies their determination to succeed. With David’s invaluable experience, the team is poised to deliver an exciting and competitive game against the Eaton Football Club during the Think Mental Health Round.

The Dunsborough community is eagerly anticipating David’s appearance and is thrilled to witness the synergy between their talented local players and David’s expertise on the field. Dunsborough Sharks Football Club President, Mark Delane, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming game, stating, “We are really happy with how the league side have started their first season, and having David Mundy join us
further elevates our capabilities. We are looking forward to a thrilling match against the Eaton Football Club, and with David’s experience, it promises to be a memorable contest.”

The Dunsborough Football Club invites the local community to make a day of it by coming to The Dunsborough Football Oval to enjoy a full day of football. The action-packed schedule will start with the Colts game at 9:45am, followed by the Reserves at 11:40am, the Women’s match at 1:30pm, and the highly anticipated League game featuring David Mundy at 3.00pm.  The Dunsborough Football Club would
love to see as many spectators as possible down at the oval.

However, please note that this is not a BYO event, and no BYO alcohol is permitted into the Dunsborough Football Oval. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy.  For those who maybe visiting to watch the match, there is only limited parking within the ground, and spectators will need to bring chairs.  There is ample parking near the ground.  There is also no undercover area, so should it rain ponchos and umbrellas will be required.  With a larger than normal crowd expected, additional facilities will be available for patrons.
