Panthers Finish On Winning Note

Donnybrook went into the final match of the season with a chance of making finals, it was dashed on Saturday by Eaton Boomers, who defeated Harvey Brunswick Leschenault, and then to make matters worse for the Dons, they were beaten by Carey Park in the final home and away match of the season at VC Mitchell Park.

The Panthers led all day in a relatively low scoring affair, leading by six points, 13 points, a game high 24 points at three quarter time and then by 17 points at the end of the match.

Jaxon Bell and Rory O’Brien played well for Carey Park, who moved up a rung on the ladder as a result of the match, finishing the season in eighth place.  The win was also the clubs 600th victory in the SWFL.

Jacob Kendle played another good game for the Dons, who finished the year with a loss and finished officially seventh in 2022.
