Panthers Into Colts Grand Final

Carey Park have made successive Colts Grand Finals after the defending premiers defeated Bunbury in the Apprentice & Traineeship Co Colts Second Semi Final at Payne Park on Sunday.

Bunbury started well with Cody Ryan kicking the opening goal in the opening minute before Cameron Baker marked on the behind line and duly converted. Bunbury then kicked three unanswered goals all to Baiden Parsons, before Baker kicked his second, as the Bulldogs held an eleven point lead at quarter time.

Carey Park dominated the second quarter kicking four goals to one with Jai Cahill kicking two goals for the term.

The game slipped away from the Bulldogs in the third quarter with the Panthers kicking a further four goals to take a strangle hold on the match.  Cameron Baker kicked to final quarter goals as the margin extended to 37 points, before a late goal to Jett Woods made the final margin 31 points.

Carey Park will now play the winner of the Preliminary Final next Sunday, between Bunbury and Harvey Brunswick Leschenault.
