Reserves Grand Final Berth For Busselton

Busselton have moved into the Reserves Grand Final after defeating Harvey Brunswick Leschenault in a dour Second Semi Final, which was close for three quarters before the Magpies got the better of the last term.

Busselton led throughout, leading by 14 points at quarter time, but the margin narrowed to just seven at the main break.  It was still just two goals at the last change but Busselton controlled the final quarter to record a comfortable win and into their second Grand Final in three years.

The leading Goal Kicker in the Reserves, William Mackay kicked two goals along with Jed Kemp to set up the victory, with Brock Carpenter and Troyden Thorp having great games.   Matthew Fenwick was the best for the Lions who will now face Bunbury in the Preliminary Final next Sunday.
