Sharks Looking For Better Result At Home

Dunsborough will be looking to reverse the result from their opening match at Dunsborough Playing Fields, when they play Harvey Brunswick Leschenault on Sunday in round three of the SWFL season.

In the opening round the Sharks were soundly beaten by South Bunbury, but they bounced back with a thrilling victory last Sunday against Eaton after trailing by twenty points at half time.   Jake Green was outstanding kicking five goals, but it was a collective effort that saw the Sharks get the four points, to be one of six teams with one win after two rounds.

Meanwhile, the Lions sit on top of the ladder after two crushing wins over the Bulls and Eagles, with much of the hype around Jarrod

Humphries who has kicked fifteen goals in two games.  But Blake Offer has been just as good up forward kicking ten goals, making the Lions forward the most potent in the SWFL.

The Sharks backline will have their hands full, putting the pressure on their mids to stop the supply to Humphries and Offer who not only have kicked twenty five goals between them, they have hardly missed a shot at goal, which has also added to the scoreboard pressure on the opposition.

The Sharks were tipped to be the big improver this season, and a strong showing against the Lions will keep that prediction alive, while currently, based on last season, the Lions have already taken that mantle.
