Sharks Looking For Two In A Row

Dunsborough will host Harvey Bulls on Sunday at Dunsborough Playing Fields, in the final game of round eight of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, Premiership Season.

The Sharks sit eighth on the ladder and the Bulls tenth, with a win to the home side keeping them in eighth place, while a loss could see them swap spots with Harvey.

The Sharks defeated Collie in round seven, but not convincingly, with just a ten minute burst of four goals in the third term, seeing the Dunsborough side home.  Meanwhile the Bulls are playing better than their position shows, leading for good portions of their match with the Hawks last Saturday, but were not able to find the major opening in the final term while kicking with a strong breeze.

Blustery conditions are forecast for Sunday’s match, and it may well be the team who adapts to the conditions the best who will take the four points.   Max Paterson continues to lead from the front for the Sharks, while Mack Candy and Tom Vellios have also been playing well.    Jordan Strahan, Braden Fimmano and Zak Pretty have been consistent performers for the Bulls, who will be desperate to drive home with the four points on Sunday evening.

Prior to the League game, the top of the table Tronox Women’s match will be held in what should be a great contest.
