South Bunbury Host Busselton Saturday

Round six of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL premiership season starts with South Bunbury hosting Busselton at Hands Memorial Oval on Saturday afternoon.

South Bunbury have taken all before them this season, with victories over Harvey Bulls (89 points), Collie Eagles (106 points), Donnybrook (44 points), Augusta Margaret River (65 points) and a 97 point win over Dunsborough in the opening round.

Donnybrook are the only team the Tigers have played that made last years finals and the only team to lose by under 50 points.

Meanwhile, Busselton made light work of Eaton to the tune of 86 points last Saturday, but suffered a loss to the big improvers in Harvey Brunswick Leschenault by 3 points, while in round two, in what was built as match of the round, saw Bunbury win by 99 points.  The Magpies did win the Grand Final Replay to be two wins from four matches, but will take plenty of confidence into tomorrows encounter after the big win against the Boomers.

The Magpies forwards of Beau Chinnery and Liam Creighton both kicked seven goals last Saturday evening, while Mitch Tenardi continues to play outstanding football on a weekly basis.

The Tigers return to Hands Oval after a comprehensive win against the Bulls, with a similar theme emerging weekly.  Teams have been able to stay with the Tigers for a quarter or even a half, but have been totally over-run in the second half, something Busselton will need to be wary of tomorrow.

South Bunbury have kicked 41 goals in second halves of matches played so far and only conceded ten, which has set up big wins and an even bigger percentage.
