There is no tougher test currently in the SWFL than playing South Bunbury, but that is what the Collie Eagles will do on Sunday in round fifteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, premiership season.
The Eagles who have been playing good football in recent weeks, including taking it right up to Harvey Brunswick Leschenault a fortnight ago, didn’t handle the water logged Glen Huon Reserve as well as they would have liked last Sunday against Eaton.
South Bunbury thrashed Dunsborough a day earlier in fine conditions, and Collie will be hoping to replicate their last home game against the Lions, to take it up to the Tigers.
Earlier in the season, South Bunbury won by 106 points at Hands Oval and the Eagles will be hoping history doesn’t repeat. The Tigers have won the last seven contests between the two sides, something Collie would dearly love to rectify.
