The Hawks To Visit Brunswick Oval To Take On The Lions

Harvey Brunswick Leschenault will play Augusta Margaret River this Saturday afternoon at the Brunswick Showgrounds, with both teams looking to obtain the four points, in round seventeen of the SWFL.

The Hawks who are seventh with six wins, and the Lions who are eighth with four wins will play at 12.30pm in a match where pride will be on the line for both clubs, with the Hawks coming off a win last week against Eaton, while HBL lost to Donnybrook, putting in a strong performance against a team in the top three.

Zac Piper kicked five goals against the Dons in the absence of Jarrod Humphries, and will be relied up again on Saturday for the Lions to kick a winning score.

The Hawks started brilliantly against the Boomers kicking six goals, but the Boomers outscored the Hawks there after, with Jack McMahon playing a great game.

If the Hawks were to win, they will keep the pressure on the Bulls in the race to finish sixth, but should the Lions succeed, and with games against the three teams below them on the ladder, the Lions may finish higher than last years premiers by the end of the season.
