Tigers Looking To Win At Home

Until today, Hands Oval has been a construction site, tomorrow, South Bunbury will play Augusta Margaret River in round two of the Dale Alcock Homes South West Premiership season.

Captain, Kevin Chitty will be a key player for the Tigers on Saturday.

South Bunbury were dominant in their victory over Dunsborough, particularly in the first half, while the Hawks took it right up to the Dons for three quarters before being over run in the final term.

The Tigers were impressive across every line and the ball movement was first class, something the Hawks will need to watch.  South Bunbury also had many contributors in front of goal, with Mitchell Bain and Lachlan Riley particularly hard to stop, kicking eight goals between them.

The Hawks will rely on their experienced players, led by Captain Linc Adams to try an stem the flow of goals, in a key game for both clubs.  A win to South Bunbury will set their season up nicely, with matches against Donnybrook, Collie and Harvey Bulls to follow, while a loss to the Hawks will see them entrenched in the bottom half of the ladder early, with matches against Eaton, Dunsborough and Collie to come.
