Tigers Reserves Make Decider

South Bunbury have defeated Harvey Brunswick Leschenault to make the Solahart Reserves Grand Final, defeating the Lions by 28 points at Hands Memorial Oval.

In front of a big crowd, it would be Shannon Sabourne who would open the scoring in the opening minute, giving the Lions the perfect start.  Alex Devitt who played a good game would kick the Tigers first, as both teams looked to gain some ascendancy.   At quarter time the Tigers led by two points in a very close contest.

When Aaron Jarvis kicked his first goal of the day the Tigers had opened up a two goal lead, which was the biggest of the match, but that extended to eighteen points after a good snap goal by Connor Valli.

The Tigers started to dominate play and potentially the half time siren was not well timed, as they had all of the momentum in the second quarter.

The Lions as expected fought back in the third, kicking three quick goals with Fraser Ward converted from deep in the pocket, followed by a long range goal to Marcus Jodrell.  When Hamish ward slotted a goal from deep in the pocket, the margin was back to two points., with a steading goal to Rohan Hitchcock int he dying seconds of the third term, giving the Tigers a seven point advantage at the final break.

South Bunbury dominated the final quarter with Morgan Lane, the competitions leading goal kicker kicking two goals in succession, which effectively clinched victory for the Tigers, with Aaron Jarvis confirming the result when he kicked his third.

Jarvis, Rhys Crawford and Jye Cormack all played well for the Tigers, who will now play Carey Park in the decider.
