South Bunbury will host Harvey Brunswick Leschenault at Hands Oval on Saturday evening, in round five of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season.
Both teams go into the match with two wins and a loss and sit fourth and fifth on the ladder respectively, and are two of five teams on two wins for the season.
The Tigers will be fresh after the club bye, while the Lions will be looking to bounce back after their hard fought loss to Bunbury at Brunswick Oval last Saturday night.
South Bunbury came from behind to defeat Donnybrook in their last match, with Jace Cormack and Shaun Crane standout performers. The Lions meanwhile had many good players in a high quality match against Bunbury, with Jack Fletcher continuing on his good form with a great game for the Lions.
South Bunbury have had the wood over the Lions in recent times, winning the last eight matches, the last by 41 points. The Lions will look to reverse that on Saturday evening. The Tigers will be looking to extend the winning streak to nine, to celebrate Jay Crossman’s 100th League game.
