Tigers Unleash On Collie Eagles

South Bunbury showed no mercy on the Collie Eagles on Sunday afternoon at Hands Memorial Oval, beating the win-less Eagles by 91 points, in their round fourteen clash.

The opening term took six minutes for the first goal, courtesy of Jordan Strahan from a set shot.  The Collie Eagles would not be denied early, kicking three goals in six minutes courtesy of Jayce Fontana, Cameron Davidson and Jaxon Pitts.   After that time though, the Tigers would kick nine goals either side of quarter time before the Eagles would score again.

The Tigers simply couldn’t miss, kicking goals from all angles and were 13.2.80 at the half time break, with Strahan having three goals at half time.

Cameron Davidson kicked an early goal in the third quarter from long range for the Eagles, but that only sparked the Tigers into action again with Ethan Nordahl kicking two goals in three minutes, and when Strahan kicked his fourth at the the 16 minute mark of the third quarter, the scoreline was 16.2.98, with the margin 61 points.

The final term saw the Eagles held scoreless as the Tigers kicked four more goals to record a resounding victory.

Kevin Chitty continued his excellent form, particularly in the Community Rounds, where he has been best on ground twice, picking up the White Ribbon ball today.  Shaun Crane and Jace Cormack also amassed plenty of possessions, while for Collie Zac Pilatti was amongst Collie’s best.
