Harvey Brunswick Leschenault return to Brunswick Oval for the first time in 2026, and will play Bunbury in a top of the table clash on Saturday evening, in round four of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football Leauge season.
The Bulldogs are on top of the ladder with two wins from their three matches, losing to Busselton in round one, before defeating Carey Park and Harvey Bulls by big margins to give the Bunbury side a hefty percentage leading into the match. The Lions meanwhile, are undefeated after two games, with victories over Dunsborough and Eaton by thirty three and thirty one points respectively.

With both sides in good form, a big crowd is expected for the contest, with both sides having playing in excellent early form. The Lions though very inaccurate in the vicotry over Eaton, saw Jack Fletcher continue his strong form, along with John Manuel and Ned Gualter, while Bunbury players, Aiden Clarke, Harry Creasey and Haydn Busher were standouts in the Bulldogs big win over the Bulls.
The match ups will be intriguing to see who comes out on top, with Hayward Medalist Ty Anderson to lead the Lions midfield brigade.
The Lions will need to curtail the trio of talls in Tyson Wood, Jett Woods and Baiden Parsons in the forward line, who were very hard to stop last round, while Bunbury will need to be wary of the Lions midfield who set up a multitude of scoring opportunities against Eaton.
With five teams currently sitting on two victories, it is imperative even early in the season for both sides to get the four points to stay in the upper part of the ladder.
