The undefeated Busselton Magpies will head to Brunswick Oval on Sunday, to play Harvey Brunswick Leschenault in the final game of round seven in the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season.
Busselton have defeated Bunbury, South Bunbury, Augusta Margatet River, Eaton and Dunsborough in their first five games, two of which were inexcess of 90 point victories, which is why the Magpies have a percentage of 243%. The Lions are coming off a heart-breaking loss last Saturday evening in a game where they trailed for the majority of the match against the Hawks, but found a way to hit the front in the final term, only to see the Hawks kick two late goals to win by eight points.
The Lions have just two wins from their five games, but have lost by 15 points to Bunbury, six points to South Bunbury and eight points to the Hawks, so despite being in seventh place on the ladder, the contest promises to be a good one.
Busselton have dominated the recent contests, winning nine of the last ten, with the Lions looking to become the first team to defeat Busselton this season.
With fine weather forecast, and a big crowd expected, a high quality match is almost guaranteed on Sunday.
