Carey Park will host Augusta Margaret River on Saturday evening at Kelly Park in the traditional ANZAC Day Match, with Carey Park having a great record, having won seven of the ten played.
On Saturday evening the Panthers will go into the match undefeated, having defeated Bunbury by 3 points, Harvey Brunswick by 2 points and Collie last Sunday by 43 points. Conversely, Augusta Margaret River had lost to Busselton by 13 point, before defeating South Bunbury by eleven points and Harvey Bulls by 8 points.
Carey Park have had an easier draw to the point than the Hawks, making this match a massive test for the Panthers at home against the reigning premiers.

Harley Sparks is playing excellent football for the Panthers and will be one player for the Hawks to watch, along with Jacob Orsi, the ever reliable Jaxon Bell and Connor Gadecki who played an excellent game against Collie.
The Hawks had a tough against Harvey Bulls on Saturday in the rain at Gloucester Park, but their defence again stood up, led by captain Linc Adams who won several one one one contests. Simon Moore, a two time Hayward Medalist, continues to play great footy, and the Panthers will need to nullify his influence on the match if they are to gain the four points on Saturday evening.
A win to Carey Park will have them second on the ladder at the end of the round at worst or on top, depending on the result between Donnybrook and Busselton played earlier in the day, while a loss could see them as one of six teams on three wins and potentially drop out of the five, such is the nature of the competition. A Hawks victory will see them inside the five and with matches against Eaton and Collie to come, the Premiers on form should move up the ladder.
