Jett Woods kicked six goals in a dominant display, as Bunbury defeated Harvey Brunswick Leschenault on Saturday evening at Brunswick Oval, in round four of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season.

In front of a big crowd. Jai Rout started the scoring in the opening minute to give the home fans plenty to cheer about, but it was immediately countered by a good goal to Jett Woods from a set shot. Both sides defensive units got on top, but midway through the term, Zavier Williams converted with a good left footed snap before Jarrod Humphries marked on the run and goaled to put the Lions twelve points in front. Dominating the majority of the term, the Lions looked set to take a handy lead into quarter time, but a late goal to Jack Gouge narrowed the quarter time lead to five points.
The first half of the second quarter belonged to the Lions, with Buster Turner kicking the first goal of the term after a 100m penalty. Minutes later Jonathan Fenwick kicked another from a set shot, with the lead out to a game high eighteen points. The second half of the quarter belonged to Bunbury with goals to Jett Woods and Joel Houghton to reduce the margin. The Lions had numerous opportunties to kick a steadying goal late in the quarter but missed three shots, leading by just seven points at half time.
The siren was still sounding to start the third when Dylan Heasman goaled, before Jett Woods took control of the match kicking three goals in ten minutes as the Bulldogs took the lead to fourteen points.
Harry Creasey kicked an outstanding goal to start the last, as Bunbury extended the lead to twenty points. Zavier Williams arrested the rot, kicking a goal midway through the term, ending seven consecutive behinds. James Finucane unloaded a 55m goal to get the Lions within ten points with six minutes to play, but Woods kicked his sixth to end any chance of a late challenge from the Lions.
The win puts Bunbury in second place on the ladder, with a match against Collie next Sunday, while the Lions drop to fifth, one of five teams with two wins, with a match against South Bunbury next Saturday.
