Boomers Looking To Take Four Points

Eaton will be looking to atone for last weeks loss to Bunbury, when they host Collie Eagles on Sunday afternoon at Glen Huon Reserve, in round eight of the Dale Alcock Homes South West premiership season.

The Boomers lost narrowly to Bunbury last Sunday, but had 32 scoring shots which would have pleased coach Chris Kinninmont, which shows Eaton had plenty of forward entries and provided plenty of opportunities.

The Eagles are coming off the bye and are still looking for their first win in 2023, and will be spurred on by the milestone of Jayce Fontana who will play his 150th League match for the club, and has been in the teams best players more often than not in the last two seasons.

The Boomers have improved markedly in recent weeks and defeated HBL two weeks ago, who then went on to beat Augusta Margaret River last week.

Ben Rioli, Paul Rinder and Greg Humprhies have all been in good form for the Boomers and will be players Collie will need to curb if they are to take the four points.

A win for the Eagles will put the Boomers on the bottom of the ladder, while a win for the Boomers will potentially elevate them into ninth place.
