Harvey Brunswick Leschenault will host Eaton on Saturday in their final home and away match of the season, in round nineteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL premiership season.
The Lions are third on the ladder and have been in that position for the last month, but they are not certainties to finish there, making Saturday’s clash one they still need to win, despite playing Eaton who are tenth on the ladder.
Fourth placed Augusta Margaret River play Busselton (in Busselton) and Bunbury at Gloucester Park in their final two matches, and should they win both of those and the Lions only defeat one of Eaton or South Bunbury, they would drop to fourth. If both teams win one and lose one of their final two matches, percentage will sort the positions out, and with less that seven percent separating both teams, scoring will be paramount in both games.
The Lions have plenty to play for, and will be watched by the 1974 Premiership side, and the club will also celebrate 50 years of the Club Rooms being opened.
