The Bunbury Bulldogs have won the Dale Alcock Homes Pre-Season Carnival held today, after being just one of two team to win both of their qualifying matches, with Harvey Bulls being the other. Bunbury had a way superior percentage, taking out the $1500 first prize.
Full Forward Matt Martin was in fine form for Bunbury, kicking very accurately from long range, particularly in the opening fixture against Collie. Martin, who tied for most goals kicked last year with Jayce Fontana of Collie, kicked 11 goals in the two games.
All teams will now have a week off before the first round of fixtures over the Easter Long Weekend.
