Panthers Back At Home Saturday

Carey Park return on Saturday to Kelly Park to take on Eaton in the opening game of round nineteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season.

The last time the two sides met was in May, where Carey Park were victorious by eighty two points in Belt Up round.

Carey Park sit sixth on the ladder and have just the slimmest of slim hopes of making finals, which requires them to win all three remaining matches and hope that Donnybrook, Harvey Brunswick Leschenault and or South Bunbury only win one of their remaining matches.

The Panthers will be watching closely to Donnybrook, who have only two remaining matches, against Busselton and Harvey Brunswick Leschenault, and should they lose both, the Panthers chances rely on winning at least two games, against Eaton, Busselton and the Lions who they will play at Kelly Park in the final round.    Carey Park will be looking for a resounding victory to boost their percentage closer to that of those within the five, should it become a factor.

Eaton meanwhile, won’t be out to make the Panthers life easy, and despite being on the end of some large defeats in recent times, will be looking to take a scalp before seasons end.

The League match commences at 2.30pm.
