Bulls Looking To Rebound

Harvey Bulls will be looking to rebound from their 103 point loss to Donnybrook, when they host Bunbury in round five of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League premiership season.

The Bulls have just the one win to their name in 2025, downing Collie Eagles by one point in round two, which was the Bulls last home game.  The Bulls had a narrow loss in round one to Harvey Brunswick Leschenault, before a 66 point loss to Carey Park in round three.  Conversely, the Bulldogs are undefeated with wins over the Lions by 33 points, Donnybrook by 35 points, and last Saturday night by 3 points over Busselton in arguably the game of the season so far.

The Bulldogs have won the last four contests between the two sides, the most recent by 92 points, so the Bulls will need a big turn around to take the four points on Saturday evening.

The Bunbury midfield is a key area that Harvey will need to target, to stop the supply into the forward line with Bunbury averaging 13 goals per game in their opening three matches.  Durack Tucker and captain Denholm King have been in good form to start the season, and will need to be watched carefully, while the Bulls will need to give Logan Egerton-Green some support in defence, after he thwarted many opportunities last Sunday against Donnybrook.

The match commences at 4.40pm.

Meanwhile the Women’s contest will start the day at the Harvey Oval, between the top two sides, both currently undefeated.  That match commences at 11.20am.  All matches will be live scored on playhq.
