After four rounds, both sides sit on two wins apiece, with the Hawks sixth and Lions seventh.   The Hawks defeated Carey Park in a thrilling ANZAC day clash last Friday, while also having a win over Collie Eagles.   Their two losses have come at the hands of Busselton (30 points) and South Bunbury (7 points).  Meanwhile the Lions won in round one against Harvey Bulls by four points, and last Saturday defeated the Collie Eagles by 36 points.  In between they suffered a 33 point loss to Bunbury and a 55 point loss to Busselton.

The winner of this crucial contest will potentially move into the top five, while the loser will be confined to the bottom half of the ladder.

The Lions had three Hayward Medalists in their side against Collie, and all played great games, none more so than Brendan Tingey who kicked nine goals.  The Hawks do have a good defence which was severely tested in the one point win over Carey Park, while both sides also have good midfields., which should make for an even contest.

The League match commences at 4.30pm with the match live scored on playhq.
