Bulls Too Good For Lions In Women’s Fixture

Harvey Bulls were too strong for Harvey Brunswick Leschenault in their Optus Women’s match at the Brunswick Showgrounds on Saturday morning, keeping the Lions scoreless.

The Bulls who have just lost the one match to Busselton, dominated the match from the outset, with Rachel Wright playing another great game, as did Trinity Brown and Rebecca Fry who racked up plenty of possessions.

The Bulls had six different goal scorers in the match, with Tahlia Reichelt kicking her first goal of the season, while Emma Faulkner who leads the goal kicking has now moved on to 22 goals for the season.

The Lions defence were under immense pressure throughout the match but didn’t give up trying with Katie Wilsonham and Hayley Murfit amongst the best players.

The Bulls next assignment is against the Collie Eagles, while the Lions will play Carey Park in Round 13.
