Busselton Brush Aside Bulls In The Wet

Busselton remain undefeated after making light work of Harvey Bulls at Harvey Oval on Saturday evening, in their round six match of the Dale Alcock Homes South West premiership.

Busselton jumped out of the blocks before the rain set in kicking six goals, while the Bulls managed three, as the visitors led by 18 point at quarter time.

The 72 point winning margin would be set up in the second quarter when the Magpies kicked five goals and kept the home team scoreless. Busselton had plenty of avenues to goal, with the midfield dominating, and that domination only continued in the third quarter, as the Bulls failed to score again, with the margin extending to 70 points.

With the rain constant in the final term, both teams effectively went through the motions, with the Bulls finally kicking their fourth goal at the ten minute mark of the final term, but the match was well and truly over by this point.

Mitch Tenardi continued his outstanding form with Ethan Bowman, Austin Styles and Jaxon East getting plenty of the ball.  East, Kester Decke and Beau Chinnery all kicked three goals in the victory.  The Magpies will next take on South Bunbury in round seven in what promises to be a great game, while the Bulls will need to regroup before their clash with Donnybrook at VC Mitchell Park next Sunday.
