Facilities at Glen Huon Reserve are nearing completion in readiness for the 2017 season after the SWFL cameras visited this afternoon.
The new facility looks fantastic with both a new Club rooms, and Change Rooms, with Time Keepers Box and Coaches Box, positioned on top of the Change Rooms. Terrace seating outside both buildings links the two structures together, with the Club Rooms having an undercover area as well.
The ground itself will be moved to the Northern end of the Reserve, taking in the old Soccer Pitch and Baseball Pitch, with a large car park built behind the new buildings.
It is likely that the Round One Fixture between Eaton Boomers and Bunbury, scheduled for the venue will be moved to PC Payne Park (subject to Club agreement), while works are finished at Glen Huon Reserve, which is still officially a construction site.
