A lot of water has gone under the bridge since Augusta Margaret River played South Bunbury in round two of the SWFL back in April, and the Hawks will be hoping history can repeat itself on Saturday when they host the Tigers at Gloucester Park.
In round two, the Hawks prevailed by eleven points, but injury has crippled the reigning premiers since then, and in more recent times have suffered defeats at home against Donnybrook and Harvey Brunswick Leschenault.
The Hawks now find themselves in sixth place and six points behind fifth placed Bunbury, and a loss to the Tigers will only make things harder for the defending Champions.
Conversely, South Bunbury are now finding form and the Hawks need to find a way to combat Leigh Kohlmann who kicked a career high thirteen goals against Collie at Hands Oval last Sunday. The Tigers have only lost one game in the last five rounds to Bunbury in the Dale Alcock Homes WA Day Derby, with strong wins against Collie, HBL, Donnybrook and Harvey Bulls.
The Hawks still have good players playing good football, with Linc Adams, Seve Grantis, Steven Payne and Simon Moore continually amongst the teams best players, and they will all need to play well to stop the Tigers Shaun Crane, Kevin Chitty, Jace Cormack and Kohlmann to name a few.
