Tigers To Host Boomers On Saturday

South Bunbury will host Eaton on Saturday at Hands Oval, in round fourteen of the SWFL, with South Bunbury looking to bolster their position in the top three on the ladder, while Eaton will be looking for a strong showing despite their position on the ladder.

The Boomers have lost several players in recent days, with Shaquille McKenzie, Ben Rioli and Cade Bolton all leaving for other destinations, making the task for the embattled Boomers even harder.

The defensive line of the Boomers will have their work cut out as interest will focus on Leigh Kohlmann yet again, who has terrorised oppositions in recent weeks, kicking 21 goals in his last two matches, to have 61 goals for the season.

The last time the two teams met, South Bunbury took until the final quarter to shake off the Boomers, but plenty has changed in that time.  Kevin Chitty, Kade Szyszka, Tom Gorter and Shaun Crane consistently play well for the Tigers and will make it incredibly hard for the Boomers who will rely heavily of Greg Humphries, Paul Rinder, Josh Bowe and Tanner Allen in a match the Tigers will expect to win.

A ceremony to celebrate the indigenous round will be held prior to the league game.
