Work continues at Glen Huon Reserve, the home of the Eaton Boomers Football Club, who last played a home game at the venue in 2015.
The SWFL cameras were last at Glen Huon on 20 March 2017. Since this time the construction site area in front of the change rooms and club rooms has been removed and grass has been put down, on what will be the wing area. Permanent perimeter fencing has started to be constructed at the Northern End and the Goal area has been marked out ready for the Goal Posts.
No date has been set yet for the return to the venue, with Eaton Boomers currently playing home fixtures at other Bunbury venues, including PC Payne Park and JE Hands Memorial Oval.
This weekends scheduled match versus Donnybrook was moved recently to VC Mitchell Park, with the return fixture in round thirteen now set for Glen Huon Reserve.
